The Elysian Hotel in Chicago, Illinois is located on East Walton Street in the Gold Coast, The Elysian is a luxury hotel with 188 rooms boasting 5-star amenities including a spa. The Elysian also has 52 private residences, condos, most of which are worth well over $1 million. Marc Jacobs also has a store in the bottom level of the hotel for his line of clothing and accessories. The hotel incorporates residential units that can be added into the list of hotel suites available when residents are out of town.
The Elysian was approved in June 2005 and was constructed from 2006 until 2010.
It will be renamed Waldorf Astoria Chicago on February 1, 2012.[1]
